Arrival:

After arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport/Arusha airport you will meet our guide who will arrange your safari. You'll be collected from the airport and taken to a hotel in Arusha ready for tomorrow morning Safari.

Day 1: Arusha town to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at hotel -8-8.30am pick-up and start game en route heading to Tarangire gate. -10 am arrival and 10min for registration then after start the game drive inside the park.13.00pm lunch at the picnic site(taking good care for beef takers and vegetarian). -16.00 pm exiting the park and heading to the lodge that we booked for your overnight.

The Park is 118km (2hours drive) South-West of Arusha and its total surface area is 2850sq km. The park has sparse vegetation strewn with baobab trees and acacia trees and it's the only area in the northern circuit with big number of wildlife outside the Serengeti eco-system.

Animals expected to spot are zebra, cheetah, giraffe, lions, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, kori bustard heavy flying bird, antelope species, many elephants.

After a great game drive in the crater including lunch at picnic site, later you will exit the park heading the lodge for dinner & Overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town

After breakfast at Lodge -8.00am pickup and start game en route heading to crater gate. -9.00 am descending the crater. The park has volcanic soil that supports many habitats making it very potential for big 5 spotting in a single day visit.

Inside the park, there are lake makes (a Maasai meaning soda lake) which provides a home for many birds. Apart from that the inside the park is well known for the existence of many Maasai families living in their circular-oriented Bomas.

Furthermore, it's best for anyone wishing to explore the history of human evolution pioneered by Leakey's family. Animal expected to spot are lions, buffalo, wildebeest, many birds, zebras, hippos, gazelle, jackal, fox and other wild dogs, eland, waterbuck, serval, ungulates.

Absentees are giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, elephants which are rarely seen at the crater rim. 13.00 pm lunch at the picnic site -15.00pm exiting the crater and back to your Hotel Arusha for Dinner & overnight.

Day 3: Arusha - Mount Kilimanjaro - Dar es Salaam

Today you will wake up early in the morning. -7.00 am breakfast at the hotel. -7.30 am you’ll be picked up by our guide and driver from your hotel and start heading to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate(It’s almost 2.30 hours or 3 hours drive) -

After arrival then you will like 10 minutes for some registration, then you’ll start to climb. Walk through the rainforest to the Mandara encampment. A side trip to Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. In the rainforest, look for towering Eucalyptus trees, birdlife, and Colobus monkeys.

Later in the afternoon, you will be driven back to the Kilimanjaro Airport for your Transfer to Dar es salaam and taken to your hotel for overnight

Day 4: Fly to Mafia Island from Dar Es Salaam

After breakfast, you will have time to walk around Dar Es salaam Street and later Depart JK Nyerere International Airport (Dar es Salaam) fly to Mafia Island in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Lodge for checking in before starting your Chole Island Tour.

Chole Island is what's probably east Africas only fruit Bat Sanctuary, a great place to meet with locals, The right place to discover more about Slave Trade Market as well as Sunset Sailing.

After this short tour, you will head back to the lodge for Relaxation Dinner & Overnight.

Day 5: Whale Shark Watching

After breakfast depart the lodge for a trip to see the Whale shark! These beautiful giants are seasonally found just a few hundred meters offshore near Kilindoni Harbour. A short boat ride towards the west brings us to a feeding ground for the sharks and soon fins and dark shapes are apparent. Up to 24 can be seen at one time: males, females, and juveniles, all beautifully marked with stripes and spots. The larger sharks are estimated at over 8 m long, so they are an impressive sight next to the boat, and quite stunning under the water.

The boat is able to move among them quietly and you can swim and snorkel to get a closer, underwater view of these gentle, wonderful animals. The sharks remain in a well-defined area and have a repetitive for them.

Later you will have lunch at the Sand Bank before heading back to the lodge for Relaxation Dinner & Overnight.

Day 6: Mafia Island - Dar Es Salaam

Today is the last day at Mafia Island, therefore you will spend in other activities before fly back to Dar Es Salaam. Such Activities include Fishing (For an extra cost) Snorkeling, Visiting the nearest villages and beaches such as Miewe, Mvinje, and Mchangani. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Mafia Airstrip for your flight to Dar Es Salaam either depart back home or to a hotel.
